All Children Deserve A Good Education
That’s why Florida instituted the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program in 2002 as a way to give all children a free headstart without any family income requirements or restrictions. At Lil’ Rascals Academy, we are proud to offer VPK for four- and five-year-olds. We have a school-year program as well as a summer program, so your child can learn year-round.
The Benefits Of Pre-K Programs
- Jumpstart literacy and numeracy skills
- Get familiar with a classroom environment
- Learn character traits like respect and self-control
- Enhance learning skills to prepare for elementary school
Cooper City
Have you thought about when to start your child in kindergarten or if they are ready or not? Starting school can be an adjustment for young children just beginning their years of education. Children are learning from the very beginning, but do they have the necessary skills in order to be successful in kindergarten, first grade, and beyond? The V.P.K program in Cooper City, FL, is an opportunity for four- and five-year-olds to get a head start. The Voluntary Prekindergarten (V.P.K) program allows new students to enhance pre-reading, pre-math, language, social skills, and gain experience and knowledge in a classroom setting that will help them when they enter kindergarten and provide a foundation for future learning.
Not only do children receive the beginning of traditional education, but they will learn character traits such as respect, honesty, responsibility, self-control, tolerance, kindness, and citizenship. The qualified teachers in this program are dedicated to providing your child with all of the necessary skills and knowledge to become strong readers and students who are excited about learning.
